Gua Sha

Gua Sha is a healing technique that involves rubbing/scraping the skin with a round-edged instrument. Gua means to rub or friction. Sha means congested blood at the surface of the body. When friction is applied in repeated even strokes, the blood circulation to the muscles, tendons and organs directly beneath the surface improves. The majority of the time, our patients experience immediate changes in stiffness, pain, and mobility. After Gua Sha/Scraping, the patient is instructed to cover the area, avoiding wind and exposure to the sun or sudden change in temperature. Stretching is recommended but not a heavy workout on the day of treatment.

Rapid Release Therapy

Rapid Release Therapy uses high-frequency vibrations to break up scar tissue and improve blood circulation to the local area.

Fascia Blasting

Fascia blasting is a form of fascial manipulation.  It involves a plastic tool with knobs that is meant to be massaged all over the body, one area at a time. It was originally designed to break up cellulite and smooth the skin. As woman started using it, they noticed pain was diminishing in their body and deep fascial restrictions were changing which is what I recommend it for even though it does do wonders for your skin. Fascia blasting in my experience does provide pain relief, improved posture, and muscle performance and increased mobility. For those hard to heal and obscure symptoms, try fascia blasting, you might be pleasantly surprised. As a bonus, you will see cellulite reduce, fat loss, facial uplift, reduced skin sag and improved muscle definition.

*We do provide fascia blasting as an adjunct therapy with my customized care plans.
